Kaor!

Written/drawn by Mick, inks by Jeff Foulsham

Nearing the finish line for campaign number 3! WIth further installments of The Panthan, Jane and La and The Devil's Convent, and featuring the complete 22 page adventure of The Dweller, 'This Blighted Heaven!"

A throw back of sorts to 90s bad-girls with big swords, Dweller has been languishing since '23 as DreamQuest took a different direction. After some revisions, edits, and finishing up the last third of the book, The Dweller is now a standalone adventure, no DreamQuest required if you haven't read that one.

Outside the usual stories are plenty of sketches, roughs and other ideas, and that's just in the main book! The deluxe version as always, has another 36 pages of unseen material.

Also new to this campaign are three more art collections! A gathering of cartoon inspired pieces, a new group of DC fan-art and a love letter to some sci-fi ladies!

Check out the campaign and show it some love!

Thanks,
Mick

So It Begins!

Kaor!

Digital rewards are out!

You should be getting an e-mail from Backerkit soon with your digital rewards! Make sure to check all your folders, even the ones you don't want to, to see if you've received them, and if you haven't please shoot me a message and I'll get them delivered.

And that means...

With orders locked, cards charged and shipping addresses locking in two days, that means books will be going out soon.

They're expected to arrive Tuesday/Wednesday next week, I'll get them checked for damages and if everything looks good, start getting them in the mail.

And What Now?

DLMF #03 will be the next project coming to Kickstarter and you can follow the pre-launch page for that book HERE.

This one will be launching in three weeks, June 20th, just before the big show in San Diego.

SDCC

If you're attending San Diego, I'll be tabling in Small Press at K-02 with Clay Adams of Fried Comics. Please stop by and say hello, get a signature or two and maybe even a Con Exclusive that ties in with DLMF #03!

The Tomb of Tu'Ora ash-can is a digest size (5.5"x8.5"), 28 page (with cover) black and white horror story in the style of the fumetti horror books of the 70s and 80s. And it gets spicy.

The con-exclusive boasts a gold foil logo on the front, while the version available through the campaign will be plain, but a 'Barsoomian' variant will also be available.

And what's next for Mars?

Queen of Mars #5: Heart of Horror, launching in October!

Surveys Incoming
3 months ago – Wed, Jun 03, 2026 at 11:39:38 AM

Kaor!

Good news, smoke tests surveys just went out today! Look for an email from BackerKit. I'm going to give it a day to get responses, trouble shoot anything that comes up, see how it goes, and the rest of the surveys should be going out tomorrow.

Books are at the printer, and I should have proofs back today for review and approval. Prints and stickers have also been ordered, so everything is on track for deilvery in the next couple months.

Surveys I'll keep open until the books arrive. There'll be 48 hours before they lock, and that will give me time to go over the books and make sure everything looks right, before I start getting them in the mail.

Thanks for the support, and I'm excited for you guys to get the books!

Delays and DREAMQUEST!

Pledge Manager Delay

As you may have noticed, I did not send out surveys this week from BackerKit. With all of the uncertainty involved from Stripe in regards to NSFW content, I'm reviewing the BackerKit store once more to remove anything that might be considered 'fun' or 'exciting' to pre-comply with any rules they haven't told us about yet. Should be next week though!

DLMF #3 Delay

Ditto for my next project! Originally planned to launch later this month, now targeting mid-June to bring Don't Let Me Finish #3 to Kickstarter, if the project can get approval.

You can still follow the pre-launch page though!

You know what's not delayed?

DreamQuest #03!

Just launched this week, the concluding chapter of our Lovecraftian dream adventure!

DREAMQUEST 3: Haunters of the Dark is the 48-page finale to our horror trilogy set in the universe of H.P. Lovecraft's Dream Cycle.

Written and lettered by Clay Adams (BLAZING BLADE OF FRANKENSTEIN, RED XMAS) with art by Mick Beyers (WHITE ASH, A QUEEN OF MARS), colors by Alex Zief (CARMILLA UNBOUND, MONSTER MATADOR) and edits by former Marvel and DC editor Frank Pittarese, DREAMQUEST is Re-Animator meets Nightmare on Elm Street.

Personally, this is the best issue and it's a little bittersweet to say goodbye. It's a great ride, and perfect conclusion to the story, I hope you guys will check it out and support the campaign!

Coming Up Next!

Kaor!

Dropping in with a few updates of where things are. Issue four is very nearly wrapped up, I'm currently in an editing spiral, slowly closing in on a final version of the book. Each new pass sends me back to the beginning with a new idea that I chase down, and then the cycle repeats.

Tha main story clocks in at forty pages, with the bonus story taking up six. I'm going to finish locking it down this week, sit on it for the weekend, and if nothing else jumps out at me, send it to the printers next week!

Also Next Week...

While I've been wrestling the story into submission, I've also been building the Pledge Manager over on Backer Kit. That's also mostly done, I'm down to double checking items and surveys, but that should also be ready to go next week.

Currently expecting to send surveys out Wednesday, though could get pushed a day or two as I finish pencils on my current project, which brings me too...

The Week After Next!

DreamQuest! Written by Clay Adams with pencils by be, inks by Jeff Foulsham and colors by Alex Zief is returning to Kickstarter for the third and final issue!

Mick Beyers and Fin Cramb

The final 48 page issue wraps up this Lovecraftian horror-adventure, and is the best issue of the series to-date. Estimated launch date is May 19th, and I hope you'll follow the pre-launch page to be notified when it goes live!
