Latest Updates from Our Project:

Surveys Incoming
4 days ago – Wed, Jun 03, 2026 at 11:39:38 AM

Kaor!

Good news, smoke tests surveys just went out today! Look for an email from BackerKit. I'm going to give it a day to get responses, trouble shoot anything that comes up, see how it goes, and the rest of the surveys should be going out tomorrow.

Books are at the printer, and I should have proofs back today for review and approval. Prints and stickers have also been ordered, so everything is on track for deilvery in the next couple months.

Surveys I'll keep open until the books arrive. There'll be 48 hours before they lock, and that will give me time to go over the books and make sure everything looks right, before I start getting them in the mail.

Thanks for the support, and I'm excited for you guys to get the books!

Delays and DREAMQUEST!

Pledge Manager Delay

As you may have noticed, I did not send out surveys this week from BackerKit. With all of the uncertainty involved from Stripe in regards to NSFW content, I'm reviewing the BackerKit store once more to remove anything that might be considered 'fun' or 'exciting' to pre-comply with any rules they haven't told us about yet. Should be next week though!

DLMF #3 Delay

Ditto for my next project! Originally planned to launch later this month, now targeting mid-June to bring Don't Let Me Finish #3 to Kickstarter, if the project can get approval.

You can still follow the pre-launch page though!

You know what's not delayed?

DreamQuest #03!

Just launched this week, the concluding chapter of our Lovecraftian dream adventure!

DREAMQUEST 3: Haunters of the Dark is the 48-page finale to our horror trilogy set in the universe of H.P. Lovecraft's Dream Cycle.

Written and lettered by Clay Adams (BLAZING BLADE OF FRANKENSTEIN, RED XMAS) with art by Mick Beyers (WHITE ASH, A QUEEN OF MARS), colors by Alex Zief (CARMILLA UNBOUND, MONSTER MATADOR) and edits by former Marvel and DC editor Frank Pittarese, DREAMQUEST is Re-Animator meets Nightmare on Elm Street.

Personally, this is the best issue and it's a little bittersweet to say goodbye. It's a great ride, and perfect conclusion to the story, I hope you guys will check it out and support the campaign!

Coming Up Next!
about 1 month ago – Wed, May 06, 2026 at 01:26:05 PM

Kaor!

Dropping in with a few updates of where things are. Issue four is very nearly wrapped up, I'm currently in an editing spiral, slowly closing in on a final version of the book. Each new pass sends me back to the beginning with a new idea that I chase down, and then the cycle repeats.

Tha main story clocks in at forty pages, with the bonus story taking up six. I'm going to finish locking it down this week, sit on it for the weekend, and if nothing else jumps out at me, send it to the printers next week!

Also Next Week...

While I've been wrestling the story into submission, I've also been building the Pledge Manager over on Backer Kit. That's also mostly done, I'm down to double checking items and surveys, but that should also be ready to go next week.

Currently expecting to send surveys out Wednesday, though could get pushed a day or two as I finish pencils on my current project, which brings me too...

The Week After Next!

DreamQuest! Written by Clay Adams with pencils by be, inks by Jeff Foulsham and colors by Alex Zief is returning to Kickstarter for the third and final issue!

Mick Beyers and Fin Cramb

The final 48 page issue wraps up this Lovecraftian horror-adventure, and is the best issue of the series to-date. Estimated launch date is May 19th, and I hope you'll follow the pre-launch page to be notified when it goes live!

Mars Thanks You!

Kaor!

It was a great campaign and I can't thank you enough! Your support literally means this comic happens and I'm incredibly appreciative of that.

So What's Next?

For a brief road map, there are a couple weeks to process the payments and to check errored cards, and in the meantime I'll be building the surveys and pledge manager over on Backer Kit. When that part of the process is wrapping up, I'll be back with a more detailed timeline of what to expect.

For those receving original art, I'll be reaching out via e-mail in the next couple days to get the process started on those.

But What Else is Next?

The next project I'll be launching is the third volume of the Don't Let Me Finish Sketchbook. The pre-launch page is already up and you can follow it HERE. Expect it to launch late May/early June, with an official date dependent on QoM's fulfilment.

Don't Let Me Finish #3

So What Else is Now?

And for a final note this week, I'd like to direct your attention towards The Blazes, by friend, Jay Magnum:

It's a fun and sexy high-stakes "NSFW" supernatural thriller comic book set in a 1980s-era Las Vegas strip club... where BAD GIRLS = GOOD TIMES!

Imagine a mash-up of "From Dusk till Dawn" and "The Devil’s Advocate" with "Striptease", "The Devil and Daniel Webster" and "Bubba Ho-Tep" mixed in!

Our story centers on a Las Vegas strip club, "The Blazes"— actually a "front" for the fallen angel Lucifer ("Luke Blaze") and his minions to lure unsuspecting souls to everlasting damnation— and the one man who may be able to foil him!

I'm a big fan of the art on this one, and I've loved Jay's work since I read Galaxy Gal a couple years ago so I'm really looking forward to this!

Thanks again!

One Last Goal to Conquer
about 2 months ago – Thu, Apr 09, 2026 at 12:28:10 PM

Kaor!

The $10k stretch goal has been crossed and the sketchbook now number 32 pages and will see print!

The current plan is to print the sketchbook at digest size, 5.5" x 8.5".

BUT

Let's aim for one last goal, $12,500 and if we can get there, we'll upgrade to a full size comic!

As a reminder, everyone receiving the Deluxe PDF will also be getting the digital version of the sketchbook. If you would like to receive the physical edition, you'll need to select the BONUS Rewards $1 add-on. The thumbnail looks like this:

And if you want another print...

Lines by me, colors by Mariam Yasser

Blazing Blade of Frankenstein Volume 1

is one week into it's campaign and it felt right to have a crossover print. If you'd like to get the print, back both campaigns, and comment on the Frankenstein page 'Kaor!' (This will help us keep track of who gets what and where they came from.)

Thanks for your support!
